Our official Foldscope app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Use our app to easily join hundreds users on the Foldscope community, the Microcosmos. Once you’re in, you can post images from your Foldscope and share your findings. Note, you will need your unique Foldscope ID (on a sticker in your kit) to join.
After you signup in the app you will have an opportunity to sign in. After that, when you use the app it will use those credentials for future posts. Go to the gear at the bottom of the app to change accounts if needed.
Click on the + sign to add your own content - upload a photo, give it a title and tell us more about your findings. Also, don’t forget to tell us the location and give your post a category.
The homescreen will show the latest posts on microcosmos.foldscope.com, simply scroll to see findings from the community. Use the search tool to find exactly what you’re looking for.
