This slide set contains 20 prepared slides of a variety of microbes and macroinvertebrates.
Microbes such as bacteria, fungi, and protists are some of the oldest forms of life on Earth, and often they are only revealed to us under a microscope. Microinvertebrates refer to macroinvertebrates that are so small they are hard to see with the naked eyes. These small aquatic organisms lacking backbones, are similarly difficult to appreciate without some magnification. Come experience these tiny creatures!
